ICFF to welcome eight Norwegian companies this spring

NEW YORK – The Norway Design Industry has assembled a cohort of eight leading Norwegian interior design manufacturers to be showcased at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, May 15-17.

Unable to attend in 2021, the exhibiting brands present a wide range of interior design products representing Norway’s best-in-design companies at the Inside Norway booth, 519: Dyfosit, Eikund, Fram Oslo, Figgio, Hadeland Glassverk, Heymat, Lundhs and Volver.

Each company selected has a respect of the Norwegian design heritage, and the aesthetics of the 1950s and ’60s are translated into contemporary styles and functionality. Many are inspired by the surrounding nature of Western Norway and the usage of native materials from that region, an area where many artisans and craftspeople migrated and manufactured in the 1940s.

“Inside Norway, an exhibition project established by the Federation of Norwegian Industries Design Industry, is especially pleased to be able to attend this year to bring these best-in-class examples of Norwegian interior design brands to ICFF who has been such a terrific partner and marketplace in the US for our brands,” said Ragnhild Grytten, marketing Mmanager, Norwegian Design Inds.
