James Antony Home opens tech-enabled guideshop

DALLAS – Retailer James Antony Home has opened a tech-enabled guideshop in the Dallas Design District which includes furniture configurators to help consumers customize their living spaces.

“Our new stores will redefine experiential retail, empowering our customers to personalize every piece in their home,” said company founder, artist and entrepreneur James Antony.

James Antony said customers are invited to touch, feel and sit in crowd-voted favorite pieces from the company’s range of furnishings from more than 200 luxury furniture brands. All items in the 30,000-square-foot location can be personalized in a range of fabrics and finishes with the guidance of on-staff interior designers using online furniture configurators, which offer endless aisle possibilities, according to James Antony. He added that unlike traditional furniture shops, pieces ordered at the new guideshop arrive directly from the manufacturer.

“In today’s rapidly changing retail landscape, we are very fortunate to be able to commit to growth,” added James Antony. “We are proud to announce the opening of an evolved furniture store designed from the ground up to facilitate ease of ordering in a part of Dallas historically off-limits to the general public.”

James Antony also has a trade program that offers a turnkey ordering resource created specifically to address the needs of the interior design community.

The grand opening for the store, located at 1113 Dragon St. in Dallas, is set for Sept. 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
