Malaysian tradeshow plans both virtual, in person schedule for July

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — The Malaysian International Furniture Fair is set to open once more as an in-person event, as well as offering virtual options for its July 6-9 marketplace.

To be held in the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre and the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, the hybrid tradeshow will host more than 400 suppliers and is anticipating buyers from more than 80 countries, including Japan, the U.S., Canada, Europe and Turkey.

The event will feature pavilions for exhibitors from China, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, showcasing residential and office furniture, wood furniture, fittings and furnishings materials.

“Buyers now are longing for a physical exhibiting experience, after 2 years of online exhibition without having to feel and touch the products,” said Karen Goi, MIFF general manager. “We are ready to receive our global industry friends to experience the summer furniture sourcing in Kuala Lumpur as the confidence of international visitors have increased with the reopening of the border.”

Organized by Informa Markets, MIFF will be powered by Renewable Energy starting this year, supporting the initiatives of shaping a sustainable future for the furniture industry.

Online registration is now open, and trade visitors only need to register once to explore the physical and online exhibition at MIFF 2022.
