N.C.-based upholstery producer extends offerings to outdoor for High Point Market

HIGH POINT – Spectra Home, known for crafting tailored upholstery for Top 100 retailers, is adding the look and feel of its indoor furnishings to its new Spectra Outdoor collection of seating and occasional tables.

The Spectra Outdoor collection will debut in the Spectra Home showroom, 200 N Hamilton St., at this spring’s High Point Market.

“Our research shows that consumers want their outdoor lifestyle spaces to blend with their indoor areas and to have the same ambiance,” said Jim Telleysh, president of Spectra Home. “Our new Spectra Outdoor collection offers just that. It has the same comfort and finely crafted detailing found in our indoor line except it is designed to be enjoyed outside. You will also find some of the same indoor tailoring, slipcovered sofas, swivel chairs or wide flange trim on the cushions and frame are being used on our outdoor pieces as well. On other outdoor pieces we used acrylic rope and woven accents to create a nautical expression.”

The new outdoor collection uses 100% solution-dyed acrylic performance fabric covers that are durable, cleanable, stain and fade resistance but also soft and luxurious to touch. Spectra Home paired the seating with quick-dry drainable cushions and decking.

Spectra Outdoor’s introductory collection of upholstered sectionals, sofas, benches, swivel chairs and sling chairs are designed to be configured for an array of patio and backyard environments. Along with the upholstery, the lineup includes end and cocktail tables crafted in a mix of teak and aluminum frames.

Spectra Home is based and warehouses product in High Point.
